Special thanks to my daughter Monica for getting Circuit City to donate the Photo Printer, to Jane Guttman for donating her beautiful pencil portrait of Big Bertha, to Kim Welter (Monica's future mother in law) for creating and donating the beautiful quilted wall hanging, and last but not least thank you to Karen Heinen (Joe's lovely wife) for her beautiful hand made bracelet with the turtle charm. You all helped to make this raffle the success it was. Your generosity, as well as the generosity of all those that purchased tickets is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Once again we are holding a raffle to help raise funds for the rescue. Last years raffle was a great success and we thank everyone that purchased tickets. Your generosity helped to save many turtles and place them in great homes. On our Rescues page we have a few photos of some of the rescues that we have cared for here. Some stay for just a short time, others become permanent residents. Not all of the turtles that come in here need intensive care, some just need a new home, but many end up staying here for some time until a home is found. The donations that come to us help to pay for food and housing for those until a home is found. For those that need medical care funds are used for veterinary care and/or medical supplies. All the money taken into the rescue goes into the animals. Nobody draws a salary here. All work is volunteer. If you can find it in your hearts to purchase a raffle ticket or two please do. We have some great prizes.

The drawing will be held on St. Patrick's Day. I wish you all the luck of the Irish , but remember, in the end it's the turtles that are the winners.
